Having the snow the last week has been very inspiring for writing and practicing. I found that I really enjoy getting up early, lighting a fire and having a cup of coffee while I practice.
You are now living in Santa Fe, right? It must be very different to move house in the US than in Europe. Even in Europe it varies. In my country most people rent a flat until they can afford their own house when they are already in their 40s. In Spain renting hardly exist. There's the family house (or apartement) until you can get yourself your own one (mostly connected with marriage).
