Took this picture as we pulled up in the bus. This is where OL did his first solo show. I'm digg'n the venue so far, it's really cool.
I walked around a bit today after we pulled up to the venue. I happened to stop in a coffee shop that Ottmar and Jon were sitting in. I took a quick pic of OL (here), grabbed my coffee went on my way to the Market Place.
This is my second time here and the weather has been beautiful both times, I've been lucky. Great view of Mt. Rainier today.
This afternoon at the Mountain Winery we rode golf carts back 'n forth from the venue to the bus.
Getting ready for the show tonight.
Enjoying the beautiful weather and sending text messages to a new site OL showed me called twitter. Going walk over to the stage and practice my guitar for a bit and make sure my gear is in order.
Some great friends of mine are coming to visit and see the show. Jason Shapiro, who played percussion on my first album, Chris Torrey and James Brummett. All helped immensly on that project and did a wonderful job. Really happy they're coming to see the show tonight.
It's great to be back in Santa Barbara. Took a walk down to the ocean and grabbed a bit to eat. Great town to be in for a few days off!
Back to the Boulder Station Casino. Great crowd tonight. After our oncore we walked off stage thinking we were finished and the crowed demanded that we come back out and play one more song.
Took this picture of the Celebrity Theater before sound check.
A good time was had by all! This is where the famous picture was taken for Gossip Magazine, haha. If you haven't seen this picture yet, you must dig it. Also took a few pictures with Ottmar and fans before the show. I had a lot of fun playing here.
Before sound check I went down the street to a local music store and bought a volume pedal for my electric guitar. During sound check I realized that I wasn't happy with it and ended up returning it after sound check.
Had a great first show and really enjoyed playing at the Rialto Theater again!
Got up as we were passing through Phoenix. I sat up for the remainder of the trip to Tucson and enjoyed the desert view.
Leaving Santa Fe for Tucson, AZ. First night on the road, beautiful colors in the sky after sunset.
