Took this picture as we pulled up in the bus. This is where OL did his first solo show. I'm digg'n the venue so far, it's really cool.
I walked around a bit today after we pulled up to the venue. I happened to stop in a coffee shop that Ottmar and Jon were sitting in. I took a quick pic of OL (here), grabbed my coffee went on my way to the Market Place.
This is my second time here and the weather has been beautiful both times, I've been lucky. Great view of Mt. Rainier today.

Last few days -
Just pulling into to Portland. Looks like it's cold outside, saw a bunch of people wearing jackets on the way in.
Nice shows at the Nugget Casino the last few nights. Great conversations with some fans afterwards.
The show in Fresno was great as well. Although during the performance, I noticed that a part of my nail chipped off and started snagging on the strings, total drag when that happens. Had to quickly switch to using my thumb to play the counter melody in Sao Paulo. I've made sure that I have a nail file sitting next to me during the show incase that happens again.
I've noticed that my 007 Casino Royal Dvd has been quite popular on the bus!

Tonight's show in Petaluma, CA
Besides the guy who was very upset that the opening act "Luna Negra" played for 2 hours and was wondering when Ottmar was going to come out to play, it was an awesome crowd tonight at the Mystic Theater in Petaluma, Ca. Great applause when we walked out on stage and a standing ovation going into intermission. We played great and the night seemed to fly by. Before I knew it, the show was over ending with another great standing ovation from the crowd.
Comparing tonights show to the one at the Mountain Winery -
I had a lot of fun tonight and there were many great moments. Looking over at Ottmar smiling in my direction, the same with Jon - having some great musical moments, the great crowd.
At the Mountain Winery, the vibe was incredible- Having a great taste of wine before walking onto the stage. Playing outside in the perfect temperature in a beautiful setting at sunset as the night grew darker and darker. Feeling so calm and in the zone like you can't hit a bad note. A tasteful light show, feeling a sprinkle of light showering down behind, silhouetting me. The glow of the LED candles in the red light as Davo was the only one lit up during his solo. Playing Sao Paulo as I look around at the audience, trees, stars, feeling goose bumps. At the end of the show standing in front of 1,500 screaming fans asking for one more song! Talking with a few fans/friends after the show with great conversation and a glass of wine. With that being said, I wish I could figure out how to take that night, turn it into a powder and snort it up everyday. What a wonderful experience.

Day Off - Oakland, CA
It's been nice to catch up on some rest and get some laundry done. Last night I took the BART over to San Francisco and had dinner in China Town. Some of the best Chinese food I've had yet, then walked around down town for a bit. I love San Francisco, what a beautiful city.
Today I've updated a few flickr photos from the last show and for some reason, I can't seem to upload the photos I took of San Francisco into iPhoto. Not sure why? Bummer.
Bus call is at 11 tonight. I'm thinking about getting a quick bite and sitting by the harbor to watch the ships go by before I get packed up to head down to the bus.

Last Night + Today
Awesome show last night. Had a wonderful time and the crowd was amazing. I'm really looking forward to playing at the Mountain Winery again.
Today for our afternoon show, I was in direct sunlight for the entire set. Towards the end of the show a very kind fan handed me a chilled glass of champagne. I took a sip and thought, that hit the spot!
